Note that a:b = c:d is the same as a/b = c/d

y:1.5=0.2:0.75 same as y/1.5 = 0.2/0.75

y = 0.4

x: 1 2/3=y:3 1/3 same as x/1 2/3 = y / 3 1/3

x = y/2 = 0.2

y:1.5=0.2:0.75

so y=1.5*0.2/0.75=0.4

x:1 2 /3=y:3 1/3

so x=1 2/3*0.4/3 1/3=0.2
