Insoluble means it does not dissolve or mix with one another like oil and water.
Insoluble carbonates means that all carbonates; for example CaCO3 or FeCO3 (anything with a CO3 at the end) do not dissolve in water.
Sometimes there’s exceptions when combined with other molecules like sodium or potassium.
