Why is the Grand Canyon so deep while other rivers aren't? They have the same amount of water in them.

well the grand canyon is deep only because the water eroded the sides of the canyon over a long period of the time. so im guessing the same way goes for it being deep since it was a river

The Grand Canyon is millions of years old and the sides have eroded and become extremely deep over the years
