What is the standard form of the equation of a line perpendicular to 2x + 3y = 7 at the point (2, 1)?

2x + 3y = 7 
3y = -2x + 7
y= -2/3(x) + 7/3 slope = -2/3

perpendicular lines, slope is opposite and reciprocal
so slope = 3/2
passing thru 
 point (2, 1)

y - 1 = 3/2(x - 2)
y - 1 = 3/2(x) - 3
2y - 2 = 3x - 6
3x - 2y = 4 ...standard form
